What is the Student Technology Survey?

The Student Technology survey is a short questionnaire about the technologies you have available to complete your coursework. The information you provide in this survey will help you & the College understand if you need any assistance with a computer, Internet, or software.

The survey is available in SOS (Student Online Services) & is required as part of the application & registration process.


Academic, Technical & Continuing Education Students applying to San Jacinto College in SOS must complete the survey to receive technology access assistance.

Students Registered by an Advisor, Dual Credit & Early College High School who have NOT APPLIED USING SOS can request assistance by clicking this button & completing a form.


What happens after I Complete the survey?

Based on your survey response you will receive an email as follows:

From: ITS.CustomerCare@sjcd.edu,

Subject: San Jacinto College - Student Technology Access Programs.

The email will contain a link to a form requesting that you confirm the answers in your survey.

YOU MUST RESPOND TO THIS EMAIL to receive assistance.


Depending on the type of assistance you need, you will qualify for one (1) or more Technology Access Programs. Click this button to find out more about these programs.
